956sports.com: When you’re not playing basketball, what are you most likely to do?
QP: I am most likely to hang out with friends, listen to music, get on Facebook and finish up my school work.
956sports.com: What did you do in the summer to get ready for this season?
QP: I played in local summer leagues, AAU traveling team. I did intesnse training for my upper body and vertical jump, along with basketball skills training.
956sports.com: You beat Edinburg when they were number 10 in the state a couple days after they beat the Rattlers. How did you rebound so quickly?
QP: We as a team knew we had the potential to beat them. We were eager to come back and prove that they were beatable and that we were the team to do it.
956sports.com: We’re half way through the district season; did you think that Sharyland would be where they stand now in the district?
QP: Honestly no, we haven’t been playing up to our full potential, but we still know if we work as a team we can be very successful.
956sports.com: What do you guys need to do to move up in the standings?
QP: Win! That’s exactly what we have to do, everyone needs to step and have the right mind set and determination to succeed.
956sports.com: Sharyland hasn’t moved past the first round in a long time, can you guys do it this year?
QP: Yes absolutely, hopefully we can finish high enough in district to get a good seeding. We know we can do that and all of us believe in each other.
