Celeb One on One: Belen De Leon
I have so many faves. I love musicals, Fiddler on the Roof. Thrillers like Inception and Sanctum. I adore 80′s movies! Anything by John Hughes. I could go on and on.
Favorite Music Artist:
Micheal Buble, that boys voice is like Buttah!
Favorite Basketball Player: Kobe Bryant
Favorite NBA Team: Lakers
Sports you played in high school: Benchwarmer, haha. No seriously, I played Volleyball, but really didn’t get much playing time. lol.
956sports.com: You’re originally from Roma, were you a basketball fan?
BD: Roma is a big basketball town, so naturally when the season was in you could catch me at all of the home games.
956sports.com: You worked in the music industry when you were in high school. Did you play any sports for Roma?
BD: It wasn’t really until my senior year that I got more involved with my musical group, so it didn’t interfere with my extracurricular activities.
956sports.com: When you’re at home relaxing, is there a sport that you watch?
BD: Honestly when I’m at home, I have no control over the television because more than likely my children will be watching cartoons, which I don’t mind.
956sports.com: What would you rather watch, the Super Bowl or the finals of American Idol?
BD: Hmmm. Depends. Who’s playing at half time during the Super Bowl?
956sports.com: Is American Idol better without Simon?
BD: I think the show will do just fine without him. Steven Tyler and Jennifer bring a lot of star power and experience to the panel.
956sports.com: You worked alongside Alex Del Barrio and Doug Spence, and now Rigo Montenegro (both Rigo and Alex worked with 956sports.com), which one of the three knows the most about sports?
BD: I plead the fifth. jiji.
