What do you listen to before a game to get pumped up?
I’m actually different when it comes to before game music. I like to listen to R & B, it calms me down and let’s me think about the game I don’t really like to get pumped up listening to rap and hip hop its all about the smooth sound of the soul.
Favorite Movie:
My favorite movie has to be White Chicks. I laugh every time I watch that movie, haha.
Favorite Music Artist:
My favorite artist has to be Brain McKnight I wish had his voice!
Favorite Basketball Player:
My favorite NBA player is Tim Duncan without a doubt I love how he uses his skill not his athleticism to compete.
Favorite NBA Team:
My favorite NBA team is the spurs they work as a team and they are going to win the championship this year and stomp on the lakers while doing it haha.
Colleges you’d like to play for:
The colleges I would like to go to eventually is Baylor, Texas, and Florida.
956sports.com: You had a great career at Nikki Rowe and a really good two year stint, was there a moment that stands out to you?
TT: I would have to say the moment we got past 1st round this year, I just looked at Josh T and hugged and said “we did it.” We couldn’t help but to be emotional, because we had finally got that huge monkey of are back.
956sports.com: Who’s the one guy on the team that made you guys laugh the most?
TT: The one guy on the team that makes me laugh the most is my friend Kevin Greider, he would make me laugh every minute of practice, lol.
956sports.com: We’ve talked before about college, what type of school are you looking at playing for? Do you have any in mind?
TT: I’m looking to go to a junior college, or a D2 university so I can train and practice and get better so I can hopefully transfer to a major D1 university.
956sports.com: Many of your players got left off the all valley team, even though the coaches have you in theirs. What went through your mind when you saw that?
TT: Honestly I didn’t mind that much actually. Whoever made those selections doesn’t know the game of basketball to be honest.
956sports.com: Do you think Nikki Rowe was disrespected, when only one player made the Refs All Star Game?
TT: Oh no question, me, Josh and Gatling should have made it. How does the MVP of the district not make it? But when I found out the refs were choosing I wasn’t surprised. Valley refs are one of the most bias people. They go judged on how you treat them, not your game.
956sports.com: You’ve got one last game with your teammates Josh Torralba, Josh Gatling, and Raul Villarreal, are you pumped?
TT: Absolutely I have played with those guys the whole year and when the season ended that was one of the things that I was most upset about. I wouldn’t be able to play with them anymore, its great being able to play with them one last game.
956sports.com: Is it added fuel for you, and Josh T and Gatling to go out and prove something to all the people that didn’t think you were worthy?
TT: Yes, We will show them what they should have picked.
956sports.com: You’ve already said on video that you want to blow out the east squad, do you really think this will happen?
TT: I’m 100 % positive we will blow them out we have way to much talent on this team to be beaten by them. West Side!!
956sports.com: Last question, your last game ended to Harlingen and you’re playing Dane Yates in the post again. Any comments?
TT: I have nothing against the kid, but it will be nice being able to get revenge. I’m looking to score on him frequently to show we are the better team regardless of what happened.
