For as much hype that surrounded this kid all season and throughout his hs career especially on here with you guys with constant articles and videos on him and the bobcats and the best he could do was a jr. college?? What about “blue eyes” as selber ANNOYINGLY always referred to him as, steven? We know you guys live and work in edinburg, but could you be just a tad less biased next year with all the Ehs coverage when more times then not there are way better matchups going on, it really gets annoying. Thanks
I understand where you are coming from. A couple years ago we took heat for covering Los Fresnos in football. Recently it was Harlingen for football too. Let me say this, Aaron started the recruiting late like most kids here do. The coaches at Lon Morris couldn’t understand how nobody picked him up. His video was actually sent to them from a DI school that said they didn’t have a spot for a guard right now. There is nothing wrong with going to a JUCO. Jaret Von Rosenberg of Sharyland went to Hartford after playing at a JUCO. As for Stevan, the coach from the Vipers, Chris Finch said he liked his game and thought he was DI talent. He actually sent out video to his friend at a school in Florida. Remember, athletics is a means to further your education.
There is nothing wrong with going the juco route more playing time and he can go d1 after
Nothing wrong with JUCO a sa stepping stone.. Im sure he will move on to bigger and better from there.I just hope he stays positive.
As for Steve. Youll hear something with in the next day or so..
