The Eagles Will Be A Tough Team In District 32-5A

2011 was no different for Coach Eddie Garcia and his Hanna Eagles getting in the playoffs for the third straight season and 2012 looks to be no different.  Four returning starters will continue to pump life into the Eagle program.  “Like every year, pitching will be the key for us. I believe it will be a really close district race because of the parity,” said Coach Eddie Garcia beginning his 4^th season at Hanna High School.  Abner Padron and Edwin Cantu will carry a lot of the load for the Eagles this season. The Eagles were defeated in Bi-District play by the Edinburg Bobcats after winning the first game (1-0) then losing games two and three ( 1-7, 7-8).

The Eagles would like nothing better than to gain the district title that they won in 2009.
