Cougars Believe They Were Planting Seeds For Success
Despite the fact that the Cougars struggled with victories, the Cougars were very competitive last season. The Cougars now return seven starters with a whole year of experience. The 2012 version of the Edinburg North baseball team will be a very competitive and successful team. “As a team we must have CONSISTENCY. Pitching will be a definite key for us as well as using the experience we have as a team to pull us through close games,” said 2nd year Head Coach Damian Gonzalez. The fact that PSJA should win the district with everyone else fighting for the other three spots, gives the Cougars a real chance at a playoff spot in 2012. Senior Robbie Garces will be the key for the Edinburg North team this season.
