New Tigers Will Have To Step Up
District 32-4A is no easy task with the fact that there are ten teams in the District. Valley View just missed the playoffs after finishing in fourth place right behind Mission Veterans. The 2012 version of the Tiger team would like nothing better than to jump right back into the playoff scene. “We need everyone to stay healthy and eligible. We need to concentrate and stay focused on every pitch. We also need to be able to adjust to the highs and lows of the game,” said Coach Galaviz beginning his fifth season in Valley View. Juniors Jorge Lozano and Jesus Tovar have the talent to lead the Tigers to the playoffs. “We need to do what is right and do our best. Most importantly we need to have fun playing this great game,” added Coach Galaviz. Look for the Tigers to have a successful season if the Tigers come up with some quality pitching.
