Coach McKinley like so many other brand new schools will have time to shape his program. Coach McKinley comes from the Dallas area and he really believes that this (the Valley) is a great place for baseball. The Sabercats will only have two seniors and the rest of the team will consist of all underclassmen. Though the Cats will be young a lot of the young players have talent and the future looks very bright. Coach McKinley will be assisted by Jaime Perez, Rodney Mayo, and Randolph Abendroth. Coach McKinley has had success at other places and in time he will be successful at Vela High School.
