Omar Wins :47 into Rd 1!!

Omar Figueroa Jr. won after only 47 seconds into the first round versus columbian boxer Henry Aurad. Aurad went down after a flurry of punches to the head and body. Omar is now 20-0-1 with 16 ko’s. A packed house of about 2,000 people watched the fight at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio and millions more on Fox Sports and Fox Deportes.
After the bout Omar said he might fight WBA lightweight champion Richar Abril (18-3-1, 8 KOs) who successfully defended his title against previously unbeaten WBA #2 Sharif Bogere (23-1, 15 KOs) by twelve round unanimous decision on Saturday night at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Omar said the fight could possibly take placeApril 20th.
