Top Stadiums in the 956
956sports.com will be looking into the top football stadiums in the Rio Grande Valley. We’d like to know which stadium you think is the best. You can also list the worst stadiums as well. I’ve selected some of my favorites, but you can submit yours in our comments section. Photos are from TexasBob.com.
Hidalgo’s Bill Pate Stadium
Hidalgo’s Bill Pate Stadium features a Pirate ship for a press box, what could be better than that?

PSJA STADIUM
PSJA Stadium went through a huge renovation last year. Couple that with one of the biggest video/scoreboards in the valley, that makes PSJA Stadium one of my favorites.

Weslaco’s Bobby Lackey Stadium
Bobby Lackey is by far the nicest stadium in the RGV. From the college type press-box, to presentation of the game, Weslaco’s Bobby Lackey stadium is one of my personal favorites.

Brownsville’s SAMS Stadium
When I started covering football games 8 years ago, SAMS had the best food in the press-box. While they don’t offer that amenity anymore, SAMS is still one of my favorites.

San Benito’s Bobby Morrow Stadium
If San Benito’s Bobby Morrow stadium had a press-box like Weslaco it would be close to the nicest stadium in the RGV.

Tell me what stadiums you think are the best in the Rio Grande Valley. While you’re at it, list the stadiums you think are the worst.
