This tournament is good for the Valley and the kids in the valley. No longer do the valley teams have to travel in the early morning hours and be forced to compete with central Texas teams. And to take a tournament from 16 teams and 2 qualifiers to 24 teams and 3 state qualifiers, is a hell of a job well done.
The valley kids can compete in 7 on 7 as long as its an equal playing field. Hats off and kudos to the Parent coaches and for the time and dedication to the kids. And wow, did you see 5 teams from Laredo, what an opportunity for them. This is good for the Valley. The valley will be well represented in College Station this year. Valley support your Teams….
