The rematch between Harlingen South and Sharyland is set for 7pm from Harlingen Field. Harlingen comes in with a record of 19-9 and finished 2nd in 31-5A. Sharyland comes into the game with a 27-3 record and the top spot in 30-5A.

In 2007, South defeated Sharyland on their way to the state finals. In that series Coach Bickerton was ejected from a game, suspended for the next and saw the Hawks shock the Rattlers 8-7 in game 3.
