Chargers drop the ball, Mercedes Capitalizes

Mercedes improves to 2-0 in district play after starting the season out 0-3, the Tigers have won their two district games in impressive fashion.  During the non-district schedule, the Tigers managed only to score 34 total points.

However, the Tigers in two district games have scored 59 points, while holding the opposition to 14 points, with a shutout at home to Donna.

Brownsville Veterans suffered through a turnover filled games and suffered their second loss of the season moving to 3-2 on the seaason, 1-1 in district.

Mercedes will face Pace in Week 7, while Brownsville Vets will face Edcouch Elsa on the road.
