PI 8th grade Basketball team looks like it will be tough to beat
this year. They have quickness, height and accuracy. Lost their
first game to Hidalgo, then won their next 3 including a 20 point
win over Lyford. Next up La Feria.

PI 8th grade boys looks to be the team to beat in 32 3A. After defeating Lyford, La Feria, Zapata and tonight Raymondville it looks like it may come
down to a rematch between Hidalgo and PI for District. Hidalgo took the
first game in the La Feria Tournament but PI has since reeled of 6 straight
wins to go 4-0 in District. Next up for PI is Progreso.

PI 8th grade A-Boys win again. They defeated Progreso tonight 49-28.
They are now 5-0 in District and face Hidalgo next in a game that could decide the District Crown. Hidalgo defeated PI in the La Feria Tournament(PI's first game of the season) since then PI has reeled off 7 straight wins and will look to avenge their only loss when they meet next Thursday in PI.

Tonight the Port Isabel Tarpons defeated the previously undefeated
Hidalgo Buccaneers 51-45. The win gives PI the Basketball District Championship to go along with the Football District Championship they
won earlier in the year. PI remains undefeated in District with one game
remaining against Rio Hondo. Congratulations Tarpons!
