Since 2007 that's the card story line; errors, lack of execution, etc, etc. HHS has enough athletes to compete every year so it amazes me how poorly the team performs year in and out.

The only upset I see on these scores posted is McHi...unless I missed something woth Rowe. Did not realize Rowe was that good? Or, doea McHi have issues. As good as ENHS has been competing I have seen some PSJA Mem scores verus opponents and they have been good competitive scores.

You're right but ENHS has always had PSJA M's number and the wolverines were not picked to beat anyone in district except for EEHS that is why I called it an upset. For several years the wolves have been good enough to be the 4th place team but they could not put it together and get into the playoffs. Like last year they beat the Raiders (a playoff team) twice then they lost to HSHS after they had like a 10 run lead.

Yankee, thanks for asking. Nick is at TAMIU and hasnt seen much time on the mound as a freshman. Pitched on Tuesday and had a 3 up 3 down inning with 1k. JD is at Javelinas but is academically out for this semester but will be back in the fall. Still practices with the team but not suiting out. Learning experience for him but should make him a better person.

Harlingen Cards 7-6 over PSJA North. The great thing about the Cards is 65% of team is Sophmores and many are starters. Will only get stronger in the next 2 years. 2 of the sophmores are 15 years old and starting Things will get interesting as the season and exprience develop!
