Well WL the same can be said for a pass heavy team who needs more balance with a running game, its a double edged sword. Your not gonna win just passing either. Key here is being able to have balance offensively, that's not too mention your D better be up to the task what good is it it to be able to pass if you can't stop anybody case in point Nikki rowe.. They've always had a pretty solid passing game but have lacked in other areas. Your not going to make Tony or Burgett change what they do, they run the ball and they've shown they can do it well, you can only hope they emphasize more of the passing game to go with it to keeps D's honest. We'll see how they approach this season knowing the kind of oppts they'll be facing..

Its funny youve mentioned that because according to the east players ive spoken too, they say hes a great coach and he motivates them very well. . My nephew has credited burget for getting started om weight training , he feels great about himself and his phisique. Everyone says he has an attitude, ive hung out with the guy and hes a great guy. The same people who say burget has an qttitude are the same folks that say tony v doesnt have one.

If he (Burgett) hasn't been a HC by now you should know there has to be a "reason" drizzle/truth. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. And the same positive things are said about Tony v. from his players, how great of a motivator he is and so forth, maybe you should hang out with him and see for yourself and maybe then you would quit being such a hater of his. Then again he don't have time to talk to former cheerleaders, as you probably were.

Ahh town crier, obviously there is a problem with that. I agree he hasnt been given a chance but you cant deny hes a good coach. The fact is cuellar should of stepped down and handed the mantle to burget this past season but didnt. Who knows maybe with tony v leaving maybe burget will get his shot at weslaco and take the panthers to new heights, cause lets face it tony v is happy just to make it past bidistrict. Hes done all he can do.

Yes I understand there predominantly a run oriented offense, but they do throw the ball during the game. This coming from a baboon whos probably never attended an east game. Ive gone to both panthers and wildcat games when I have a chance to go. I have watched east throw the rock around. you hereuguia and his yards and u dont see the beauty of it. He keeps the defense honest by throwing the ball several times a game. You read his passing was at 62% completion percentage. The fact is the easts running the ball opens up the passing and east has capitalized on that, where weslaco high and tony v are happy to stick to a simply running the ball type memtality.

Yeah MAYBE as another coordinator, as HC not gonna happen. I'd rather have our current DC take over. New heights lol, what to pass 4 more times a game then we do now, gee thanks but no thanks. Like I said let's see how east does in the postseason in 5a, and we'll see if burgett will just be happy to make the playoffs..

Ive been saying east passes mre than high for quite some while and the fact that I just proved your an idiot and know nothing about east football in this article: http://m.midvalleytowncrier.com/arti...y-offense.html doesnt meen I dont go to games it just meens I like to read about valley sports. If you had read thos article you wouldnt of said east passes 4-5 times max per game like a baboon.

Anyway back to the topic at hand, yes teams can definately benefit from playing 7on7 ball in the summer. The positives outweigh any negative there might be.

Im just here to drop facts and opinions. My opinions are derived from the facts I present. I dont just through things out randomly and unthought like some folks. Im here to post. Some people might agree and some people might disagree. Then we can debate and everyone give two cents. You fellas obviously dont agree with my posts so dont respond to them. But im always up for a debate.
