This will just weaken the district competition for E-E, new HCs at least at 3 rival teams that I know of so far (VV, Mercy, & Mission). An established system at E-E will make it difficult for someone else to win district for the next couple of years at least.

Let me start by saying good luck to Coach Leal at South.....

Now that we are looking here is my wish list:

I hope some of the same folks that applied at South apply for Mercedes....

Wheeler, Gantt, Landeros are all fine assistants....

I hope Coach Uribe applies he is a fine man and with the right OC it could work with him in Mercedes.....

I hope Coach Infante from Lyford applies.....he had applied when Coach leal got the job last time but got more money from Lyford and stayed there...

I hope Coach Valdez from Porter applies seeing what he has done at LaFeria and now at Porter he is a good coach....no secret he lives in McAllen but works in Brownsville....

Here is who will probably apply.....

Marroquin from PSJA Memorial (OC) is from Mercedes

OC from East...applied last time....
maybe a few more assistants....

as long as they make the right choice for the kids not for politics I think we will be okay....

Attention All Jello Jackets Fans:

I know this may come as a suprise to some of you, and based on the last few days I know this to be true......

There is more to life then football and especially EE football.....I know...I know thats all you have and its the one thing you are successful in and with your inferiority complex this is what all of you hang your hat on.....but take a deep breath.....go out and getan education and live life outside that area....I think you will find the world is an exciting place with many opportunities for you out side of that area and that football team.......
