i should be @ the south hawks - raiders game 2nite, well, barring some astronomical catastrophe! lol! I'll keep u guys updated.

Best of Luck to the Hawks tonight
PSJA North has really improved since last year. They really impressed me in the fall, and after losing Tuesday to PSJA Memorial in extra innings, they are going to be out for vengence.

Hanna beat Weslaco 11-10 in xtra innings: Weslaco looks impressive going the extra distance with one of the favorites in 32-5A. They are young but have a lot of heart.
Pace lost 7-6 in 8innings: Pace had a chance but a miscommunication error on the part of the coach cost them the game.
Lopez beat Los Fresnos 3-0: Justin pitched 4 innings with 3k's/ Carlos pitched 3 with 9 k's.
Porter beat San Benito 9-7 (Coach Barbosa benched 2 starters for "conduct detrimental to the team"-Which I think is what's needed in some BROWNSVILLE TEAMS. Could have lost the game without those two for sure and almost did but it will teach those young men a serioius lesson.... hopefully.

I don't think the games hurt us.
To many days off, with tourny canceled too many of our guys had not pitched or seen live pitching. Error cost us tonight. Austin was nails, threw a great game, our normally tough middle infield just didn't do it, two run error in the outfield did not help either. PSJA pitcher was tough, and we left to many on base (left em loaded once for sure maybe twice). Just not our night. Our cather had a very good night. Bottom line, PSJA is what they always are, tough. This district is going to be the toughest (as far as who will wind up #1) in the Valley. Originally Posted by CiscoKid
