Sorry for the delay, here are the Week 7 Power Rankings.
Narro’s weekly power rankings

15.)Harlingen South-It was only a matter of time until the Hawks made this list. After falling just shy in the Bird Bowl, Brian Ricci and the Hawks answered the bell in a huge way.

14).Sharyland Pioneer-The D’Backs are back in the Top 15, in thanks to their huge “signature win” at Mission Veterans. According to my colleague, Dr. Greg Selber, this is the biggest win in Pioneers young history. With that said, this type of win is what gets the train rolling.

13.) Brownsville St.Joesph-Kai Money accounted for seven touchdowns, seven. St. Joe rebounded against Hidalgo, and looked like the St.Joe we all know and love.

12.) Sharyland-How about these Rattlers? Once again I tell people to never count out a Ron Adame coached team, I think now people are starting to listen. The Rattlers offense has scored 40+ points in three straight games. However, the schedule beefs up with Pioneer,Nixon and Mission Vets looming.

11.) McAllen Rowe-The Warriors continue to roll in 30-6A, despite their win against a non district opponent, Rowe remains one of the few Valley schools with out a loss.

10.) Weslaco East-Its hard to think this squad has lost two of their last three, considering how good I think they are. Again, this is 32-6A where each week is brutal. East can’t afford to fall to (1-2) in district with Los Fresnos up next. Fun fact, every team East has played this year, was a playoff team from last year.

9.) Edinburg Economedes-Econ rebounded like good teams do. The Jags defense will be tested this upcoming week against a solid offensive attack in PSJA.

8.) Mission Veterans-The Patriots suffered their first district loss of the season. A huge 31-5A tilt will take place Friday night in Laredo. Vets takes on Nixon where the winner of that game will be in the driver seat of 31-5A.

7.) Weslaco-After a frustrating first half, the Panthers made a few adjustments and took care of business. Weslaco travels to Harlingen in what should be a telling game for both programs.

6.) PSJA North-The Silver and Blacks Defense is no joke. Under first year Defensive Coordinator, Will Littleton the Raiders D is yielding six points per game. Amazing.

5.) McAllen Memorial-Man oh man, If you saw Campbell Speights touchdown runs from this past Friday, it’s amazing he is just a freshman.

4.) Edinburg Vela-The SaberCats dropped the hammer on their cross town rival EHS in a big way. Vela is still the team to beat in 31-6A, meanwhile a star was born in sophomore running back Cristian Flores.

3.) Harlingen-The Cardinals are building momentum each week, this week they welcome in a top tier defense in the Weslaco Panthers. Bogus Stadium will be Purple and Red divided come Friday night.

2.) Edcouch-Elsa-After an early 14-14 tie with Donna, E-E adjusted and outscored Donna 39-0. The Jackets enter an important two week stretch beginning with Brownsville Veterans this week.

1.) San Benito-The Greyhounds like last week gutted out yet another tough win against a solid Wildcat team. Call me crazy, yes, but I foresee a mammoth Battle of the Arroyo coming. If the stars align, it very well may be. For now I guarantee Dan Gomez and Co. are focused on Brownsville Rivera.

Teams To Keep An Eye On: Port Isabel,Rio Hondo,Mercedes,Brownsville Lopez
