Vela defeated Brownsville Hanna 6-5 in a back-and-forth affair on Saturday. The game was tied at five with the Sabercats batting in the bottom of the sixth when Aaron Galvan singled off of Lee Alonzo, driving in one run.
Brownsville Hanna scored three runs in the first inning, but the Sabercats still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Brownsville Hanna came thanks to a single by Cristian Gonzalez, a error, and a single by Cesar Saldana.

Vela collected nine hits. Amador and Galvan each collected multiple hits for the Sabercats. Galvan, Rafael (RJ) Ochoa, Matthew DeLa Cruz, Eric Martinez, and Amador each drove in one run to lead the Sabercats.
Brownsville Hanna didn’t commit a single error in the field. Gonzalez had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
